John Landis, the director of Michael Jackson's iconic short film "Thriller", has been working hard for many years fighting The Estate of Michael Jackson so he could re-release Michael Jackson's short film. Finally, Landis has reached an agreement with the Michael Jackson Estate for him to re-release the "Thriller" short-film in High Definition and 3D. The short - film may even be released in theaters as well as on Blu-Ray DVD and many promotional outlets are being discussed. Michael Jackson's Estate is even coming up with gaming ideas. The original "Thriller" short-film was released in 1983 to help promote the 1982 "Thriller" album that went on to sell over 100 million copies worldwide. In 2009, the “Thriller” video was inducted into the National Film Registry by the Library Of Congress.
